Position Overview:
The University of Manchester is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to engage in a full-time role at either Grade 6 or Grade 7, contingent upon qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will possess advanced computational skills and relevant expertise to collaborate with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators on core datasets, focusing on the methodological aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standardized and anonymized variables related to social media usage and exposure, utilizing Twitter data gathered during significant electoral events.
- Generate standardized metrics for media exposure and consumption through automated content analysis of URLs accessed by survey respondents.
