About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in respiratory medicine. As a Consultant Physician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist advice to patients with respiratory conditions
  • Facilitating early discharge when suitable
  • Ensuring specialist input for respiratory patients in remote wards
  • Conducting daily ward rounds
  • Teaching and training junior staff and students
  • Participating in clinical governance and audit
  • Supporting sub-specialist respiratory services
