Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Gemini Recruitment is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our client's team. As a leading law firm, our client serves corporate entities and private individuals in over 25 practice areas from offices throughout London and across England and Wales.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Department Director
  • Provide professional, proactive approach and strong client care skills
  • Responsible for all aspects of Clinical Negligence work and provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members
  • Manage appropriate caseload types and complexities
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with Clinical Negligence cases issued at court, and have an excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and protocols
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Deal with correspondence
  • Maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews
  • Ensure compliance with file management
Key Skills:
  • 2-4 years experience in clinical negligence and Personal injury
  • Valid Practicing Certificate
  • Committed team player with adaptability to new challenges
  • Previous supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators is an advantage
  • Professional with a proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of Clinical Negligence work and ability to service privately funded cases
