POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Store Manager to become a vital part of our Columbia Retail team.
You will be part of a diverse and vibrant European Retail team operating across multiple countries.
In the role of Assistant Store Manager, your contributions will be crucial in driving the success of the store and the team. Your primary responsibilities will include enhancing store profitability and customer satisfaction, as well as mentoring and inspiring staff.
You will also take charge of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver exceptional customer service by providing knowledgeable advice on our products to enhance the consumer experience, adhering to our Customer Service best practices. Contribute to maximizing store sales and monitor sales performance against key objectives. Assist in leading and developing the store team, including staff management tasks such as hiring, training, and performance assessments (in collaboration with the Store Manager). Coach, motivate, and inspire team members to reach their full potential while discussing team progress with the Store Manager. Ensure the store maintains an appealing appearance by merchandising products according to corporate visual merchandising guidelines. Foster a positive work environment and maintain effective communication with all levels of management and staff. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while suggesting areas for improvement.QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or customer service and sales at a management level.
Proficient in the country's official language, with a professional level of English required.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teamwork.
Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
Enthusiastic about being part of a high-performing team and ready to embrace challenges.
Passionate about the outdoors and eager to share that enthusiasm.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
