About the Role
The Senior Acoustic Consultant will lead a team of acoustic experts and provide technical advice and expertise across all acoustic fields, particularly building and architectural acoustics. Developing key stakeholder relationships, both externally and internally, will be crucial to the success of this role.
Working closely with the leadership team, this role will contribute to strategic development planning for recruitment, resourcing, development, and thought leadership.
The Senior Acoustic Consultant will act as the Acoustic Project Leader on a diverse portfolio of building projects across various construction sectors.
Providing support to the Profession Head in maintaining the 'one team' ethos, aligning the London and Manchester studios to deliver growth, financial performance, technical direction, and outstanding work will be a key success factor in this role.
About You
- Hold a degree in a relevant discipline
- Be a full Member of the Institute of Acoustics
- Have a proven track record of technical expertise and delivering successful design projects
- possess excellent communication skills and be able to transmit your passion for acoustic design to clients, other professionals, and the team
- Have in-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including how to successfully cost bids and win work
- Be a passionate and motivated Acoustics professional, comfortable in providing exceptional Acoustic technical expertise within a multi-disciplinary environment
- Be a dynamic professional, able to motivate a team, drive new business, and maintain an exemplary client focus
