Overview:
Beard & Fitch Ltd is a prominent manufacturer and supplier of gear systems, focusing on the creation of transmission components tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. We serve a wide array of industries, proudly distributing our products both domestically and internationally.

Role Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the high standards of quality that our company is known for. This includes evaluating incoming materials, overseeing production processes, and assessing finished goods to ensure compliance with our quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate incoming materials by verifying specifications through visual inspections and measurement tests; reject and return materials that do not meet standards.
2. Monitor in-process production by performing visual and measurement tests, providing feedback to machinists for necessary adjustments.
3. Prepare quality documentation for dispatch alongside finished products, including PPAPs and ISIRs.
4. Document inspection outcomes by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and entering data into our quality management system.
5. Ensure that inspection records comply with ISO standards.
6. Collaborate with team members to address any quality-related concerns.
7. Maintain measurement equipment by adhering to calibration protocols.
8. Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards and legal regulations.
9. Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities and reviewing technical literature.
