Job Title: Senior Buyer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead a small team across our Production purchasing division. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for the procurement of a defined range of parts and components across the Electrification category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure parts and components in line with Procurement departmental procedures and objectives.
- Secure strong commercial terms and excellent quality and delivery service levels from suppliers.
- Ensure audit compliance and report directly to the Senior Manager.
- Lead a small team of Buyers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous Procurement experience in an Automotive setting, either OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
- Understanding of the strategic role of the Procurement function and ability to work at this level.
- Post holder should hold a full driving licence and be prepared to travel where their specific work responsibilities require.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
