Job Title: Recruitment and Progression Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment and Progression Officer to join our team at Catch22 College. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in recruiting learners onto our programmes and supporting them throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit learners onto our vocational programmes, working closely with local authorities, schools, and other stakeholders to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with learners, identifying areas for improvement and developing tailored support plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with our teaching staff to ensure that learners receive the best possible support and guidance, and that their individual needs are met.
  • Develop strong relationships with local employers to create work placement and employment opportunities for our learners.
  • Contribute to the overall success of Catch22 College, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our vision and values.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
  • Experience working in an education or vocational training setting, or demonstrable knowledge of the challenges of working in such a setting.
  • Good practical knowledge of common ICT software packages, especially MS Office.
  • Able to engage, inspire, and motivate young people to be at their best.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to form strong connections with professionals and other partners.
  • Proven experience of engaging with stakeholders for recruitment and progressions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the local area, and occasionally further afield, sometimes with overnight stays.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £26,000 per annum.
  • A full-time contract with 37 hours per week.
