Recruitment and Progression Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment and Progression Officer to join our team at Catch22. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in recruiting learners onto our programmes and supporting them throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit learners onto our vocational programmes, working closely with local authorities, schools, and colleges to identify and engage with potential candidates.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with learners, identifying areas for improvement and developing tailored support plans to help them achieve their goals.
- Build strong relationships with employers and other stakeholders to secure work placements and employment opportunities for our learners.
- Collaborate with our teaching staff to develop Individual Learner Plans (ILPs) and ensure that learners receive the support they need to succeed.
- Conduct home visits and site visits to maintain attendance and monitor learner progress.
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Experience working in an education or vocational training setting, or demonstrable knowledge of the challenges of working in such a setting.
- Good practical knowledge of common ICT software packages, especially MS Office.
- Able to engage, inspire, and motivate young people to be at their best.
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to form strong connections with professionals and other partners.
- Proven experience of engaging with stakeholders for recruitment and progressions.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the local area and occasionally further afield, sometimes with overnight stays.
- A competitive salary of £26,000 per annum.
- A full-time contract with 37 hours per week.
