Job Title: Radiographer

We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic radiographers to join our team in the Paediatric Imaging Department at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.

About the Role:

The successful applicants will work with a range of state-of-the-art equipment and have the opportunity to gain varying experiences working in several imaging modalities. They will be responsible for imaging and caring for paediatric patients, as well as supporting adult imaging carried out in the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiographic examinations on paediatric patients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in paediatric radiography
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:

The post holder will be required to have a PVG Scheme membership/record and be able to work flexibly, including out-of-hours and weekends. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in ongoing education and training.
