Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Nurse to join our team on Bluebell B Ward, a respiratory and endocrinology ward at BHRUT Hospitals. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and leadership to the ward team, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the ward's clinical strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the ward team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and act as a role model to junior staff
  • Take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients and the whole ward for the duration of the shift
  • Provide holistic nursing care to clients within Bluebell B Ward
  • Develop personally and professionally as an effective member of the multidisciplinary team and undertake appraisal annually
  • Act as a role model to junior colleagues and provide teaching and mentorship
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe environment and report any potential or actual problems to line manager and/or Matron when appropriate
  • Act as a link nurse when required
