Job Advert Role Description
We are actively seeking to expand our dedicated and compassionate team of support care assistants at Rookery Radstock, part of Priory Adult Care.
Do you believe that every individual deserves exceptional care and support? Are you motivated to create a meaningful impact in the lives of others? Do you wish to assist individuals in realizing their goals, dreams, and aspirations?We share this vision and are committed to delivering outstanding care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, or mental health challenges. As a support care assistant, you will have the chance to contribute to countless stories of inspiring care and support for our residents.
In this role, you will assist our residents in their daily activities, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may also engage in exciting outings beyond the home – our residents enjoy day trips, charity events, and much more.
Our ideal support care assistant will:
Be dependable, warm, and nurturing to help our residents achieve their daily objectives (including personal care) Be capable of facilitating in-house activities and hobbies Be observant and motivate our residents to reach their full potential Be resilient and assist in managing challenging behaviorsWhile drivers can take residents on outings, being a driver is not a requirement – we also employ many non-drivers.
