Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fixed-term post to cover maternity leave, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment of patients with foot pathology, including wound care, nail surgery, and biomechanical assessment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe and manufacture orthoses, insoles, and other devices as required.
  • Participate in specialist teams, including wound care, musculoskeletal, and surgical teams.
  • Rotate through different clinic sites and visit patients in their own homes and care settings.
Requirements
  • Registered Podiatrist with a strong clinical background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of foot pathology and treatment options.
