We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Support Worker to join our Norfolk youth team for Prospects, part of Shaw Trust Youth. The successful candidate will be based in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, supporting young people aged 14-18 who are at risk of statutory intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to young people, aged 14-18, who are at risk of statutory intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with the youth team to deliver a range of interventions and activities that promote positive outcomes for young people.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the youth service's strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification, e.g., L3 in Youth and Community Work, Health and Social Care, or allied occupation.
  • Significant experience of working directly with young people aged 13 – 19 in formal or informal settings.
  • Experience of using a range of approaches to engage, establish, and maintain relationships with young people.
