Customer Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Team Leader. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading and developing your team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service to our customers, supporting them with tasks on the post office counter and managing the store when needed.
- Team Leadership: Develop and coach your team's capabilities, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
- Store Operations: Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational, managing diligence checks and stock accuracy to provide a great shopping experience for our customers.
- Support and Development: Support your store manager by deputising when they're not working and delivering a variety of HR processes, including training and development opportunities for your team.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
- Care for Customers: A genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
- Leadership Skills: The ability to strike a balance between leading and supporting your team and rolling up your sleeves on the shop floor.
- People Skills: Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
