We seek a proactive individual to significantly contribute to their Outsourcing team, providing exceptional service to a varied clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Client Engagement: Proactively address and anticipate client requirements, ensuring a superior level of service.
- Technical Proficiency: Prepare and assess VAT returns, management accounts, consolidations, and cash flow statements.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple deadlines effectively while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
- Service Excellence: Uphold the firm’s esteemed reputation by consistently meeting and surpassing client expectations.
Requirements, Skills, and Experience:
- Team Collaboration: A proactive, hands-on approach with confidence in managing shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Organizational Skills: Naturally organized with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
- Technical Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Xero, Dext, and QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts.
- Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualifications.
- Alternatively, qualified by experience (QBE).
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a small to medium-sized practice.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, complemented by strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Benefits:
- Annual Leave:
- Assistant Managers & Managers: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
- Other Roles: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays.
- Up to 3 additional paid days during the Christmas closure.
- Flexible Working:
- While we support remote work, we also value in-person collaboration.
- Initial office-based work for the first few weeks, transitioning to a hybrid model with 3 days in the office per week.
