Position Overview

PE Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our esteemed multinational client in the mining and construction sector. This position offers a hybrid work model and is structured as an initial contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and compile system and component validation strategies (DVP – Design Verification Plan) informed by risk assessments derived from DFMEAs (Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis).
  • Collaborate closely with testing engineers tasked with executing validation tests; facilitate decision-making through analysis of engine data and final inspection outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis relevant to the testing processes being implemented.
  • Ensure that all activities are meticulously planned and executed within the established timelines.
  • Post-testing, document findings and recommendations, prepare comprehensive reports, and update DFMEA with insights gained from the testing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • Proven experience working within a multidisciplinary team to establish testing requirements.
  • Demonstrated background in engine or machinery development (or a comparable field).
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in troubleshooting processes.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engine validation and testing.

Note: Candidates must possess the appropriate visa to work in the UK.
