Nursery Care Professional

Nursery People is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, in a purpose-built nursery set in beautiful surroundings.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with parents and carers to provide individualized care and support for children, observing, planning, and evaluating their development activities.
- Support the Room Leader in ensuring that all nursery initiatives are fully integrated into the room, adhering to the EYFS framework at all times.
- Respond to parent queries and requests in a professional and polite manner, seeking assistance or signposting parents to the correct person within the nursery as needed.
- Contribute to the induction of new staff into the room, ensuring consistency of care and high-quality childcare.
- Experience working in a day nursery setting.
- Relevant Early Years qualification – Level 3.
- Understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements, safeguarding, and pediatric first aid.
- Valid DBS check.
