Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Stress Engineer to join our Nuclear team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex stress analyses and structural integrity assessments for various clients in the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality stress analyses and structural integrity assessments for nuclear power plants and other energy-related projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions.
  • Work within small to medium-sized multidisciplinary teams to drive innovative thinking and deliver tasks for multiple workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of relevant codes and standards, such as ASME III, RCC-M, BS7910, R3, R5, and R6.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified mechanical engineer or relevant qualification.
  • Experience in delivering complex stress analyses or structural integrity assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to work within budget and time constraints.
