About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Cloud Solutions team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of our cloud services across the UKI region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive cloud adoption and revenue growth across the UKI region.
  • Work closely with our sales and field organizations to engage with customers and partners, and execute joint go-to-market programs.
  • Serve as a key member of our Cloud Solutions team, helping to define and deliver our cloud strategy for customers, system integrators, and independent software vendors.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and partners, and work closely with our internal development team to guide the direction of our cloud offerings.
  • Educate and enable our sales teams, and increase visibility of our cloud products across all relevant AWS teams.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations as needed, and serve as a partner liaison to our legal group.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Partner/Software Sales experience working across the software ecosystem, channel, and technology companies, including increasing technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level, including working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Experience with technology transformation initiatives.
