**Role Overview**

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Barclays, where you will play a key role in driving the evolution of our digital landscape. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization
* Develop business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities
* Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions
* Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda
* Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does
* Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies

**Requirements**

* Significant Financial Services experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner using Agile and Lean principles and practices
* Experience with data analysis and reconciliation tasks and tools (For example: SQL, Qlik)
* Experience in ETL tooling, e.g. Informatica, Ab-Initio, also awareness of data modelling best practices (relational/semi-structured)
* Strong Data Domain experience and/or Risk Domain experience

**Nice to Have**

* Finance and/or Treasury subject matter expert
* Working with Big Data sets
* Delivering projects through all phases of the SDLC
