Role Overview
As a Senior Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with the operation and management of all engineering assets to ensure the sites in the Southern Region function smoothly and efficiently, minimizing unplanned disruptions.
Your responsibilities will include managing the reactive works process to guarantee that requests are addressed and resolved in line with established protocols. You will also develop management tools to actively monitor asset and building performance and propose enhancements.
Working Schedule
Monday - Friday
08:00 - 17:00

- Conduct routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all electrical and mechanical systems according to site task schedules and asset inventories.
- Complete reactive tasks across designated buildings and proactively identify areas for improvement, including concessionary stores and fabric-related issues.
- Swiftly address plant faults and defects to keep systems operational.
- Ensure availability of necessary spare parts for maintenance and reactive tasks, providing inventory and estimated timelines for remedial actions.
- Maintain the Computer-Based Maintenance Management System, ensuring PPM and reactive tickets are updated and closed with accurate data.
- Complete all relevant documentation for reactive and breakdown works promptly for the contract administrator.
- Prepare and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
- Complete assigned tasks with a strong focus on Health & Safety awareness and compliance.
- Adhere to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Exhibit the professional image and core values of Smart Managed Solutions at all times.
- Ensure all plant rooms under Smart Managed Solutions' responsibility are secured and maintained in a clean and orderly state.
- Provide out-of-hours emergency callout support as per a scheduled roster.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* 17th/18th Edition certification required
