Job Title: Storekeeper
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team at Jet2. As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our aircraft parts stores, ensuring a secure, efficient, and reliable service to our colleagues and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all transactions, including parts inventory, transportation of parts, repair requisitions, delivery notes, airway bills, purchase orders, and export documentation.
- Prepare and coordinate the dispatch of components, utilizing correct and cost-effective modes of transportation.
- Develop a full knowledge of the handling, packing, and storage of dangerous and hazardous goods.
- Ensure a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
- Make suggestions to improve the stores service, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work knowledge of International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9002 standards.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar position within a stores or warehouse environment.
- A good understanding of the aviation market would be an advantage.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9002 standards.
- Full UK driving license.
