Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the procurement of products from approved suppliers.
- Create new purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve product and delivery queries and discrepancies.
- Raise supplier claims and chase credits to completion.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and minimize out-of-stock or overstock situations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to address and resolve stock-related issues.
- Update stock system with supplier cost data.
- Work with the warehouse team to manage and control stock levels.
- Ensure accurate warehouse stock records.
- Regularly communicate with suppliers via phone and email.
- Provide support to other team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Confident in using other IT applications, with Xero experience preferred.
- Analytical experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Previous experience in a purchasing or stock control department is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to prioritize workload independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A positive and willing attitude towards work.
- Good time keeping and time management.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and as part of a team.
