Role Overview:
As a Lead Innovation Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced Managed Service team, dedicated to achieving service excellence with a proactive approach.

Your responsibilities will include the operational management of private data centers, proactively identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities for clients, and executing essential NOC processes and activities.

This role operates within standard business hours, Monday to Friday, and offers a hybrid working model.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide third-line technical support and engage in project work for all clients.
  • Collaborate with various service teams to optimize proactive monitoring and alerting for both existing and new clients.
  • Assist in the technical design, implementation, and resolution of customer incidents and projects.
  • Quickly resolve customer incidents (both on-site and remotely) with thorough root cause analysis using an ITSM tool.
  • Manage change control processes and maintain digital records strategically and for individual clients.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality support for clients across their estates, company infrastructure, or public cloud environments (primarily Azure).
  • Stay informed about new and emerging technologies and necessary training requirements.
  • Assist with customer trials and potentially participate in ad-hoc pre-sales discussions for new business opportunities.

Experience and Skills Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a role supporting servers, networks, virtualized systems, backup, and disaster recovery solutions, as well as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Proven experience with enterprise technologies and applications, including Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD, Windows Server, RDS, group policy, Active Directory, VMware, and Veeam.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Azure & 365, VMware VCP, and CCNA are highly desirable.
  • Core networking skills and familiarity with private data centers and/or public cloud environments are expected. Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and alerting systems is also required.
