Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our Administrative Team within the Perinatal Services.
The Perinatal Community Services are dedicated to providing care and assistance to women facing mental health challenges during the perinatal phase, which spans from the 13th week of pregnancy to one year postpartum.
Key Responsibilities
This role will be primarily based within our administrative facilities. The core function of this position is to deliver comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team. Responsibilities will encompass:
- Scheduling appointments utilizing the Trust's database system.
- Drafting and typing correspondence, including audio transcription.
- Managing room reservations and taking minutes during meetings.
- Maintaining electronic calendars and diaries.
Flexibility to adapt to additional responsibilities as required by the service is essential.
The role involves regular communication with service users, caregivers, and various agencies, necessitating a collaborative team spirit.
You will operate under the guidance of the Admin Team Leader, with the ability to manage your workload effectively within strict timelines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for success in this position.

Role Responsibilities
The primary duties of this position include:
- Delivering a thorough, efficient, and confidential administrative and secretarial service to the multidisciplinary team within Perinatal Services.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Actively participating as a supportive member of the administrative team within Perinatal Services.

Salary Information
Successful candidates without prior NHS experience will typically start at the entry-level salary in accordance with the Agenda for Change framework. This salary may not meet the minimum requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa category.
