About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Palliative Care Nurse to join our team at Marie Curie UK. As a Palliative Care Nurse, you will work alongside a Clinical Nurse Manager and Senior Nurse to provide an integrated and coordinated service that delivers care and support to people with terminal illnesses, while also offering vital emotional support for their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with terminal illnesses in their own homes
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive care package
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of patients
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (Level 1) with a valid license to practice
  • Experience in palliative care or a related field
  • Ability to work in a complex and stressful environment and demonstrate appropriate coping mechanisms
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car
