We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our team in the Older Adults service at Berrywood Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in the SAS on-call rota, providing cover for Adult, Old Age, and Learning Disability Services.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, trainee doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
- Provide education and training to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Minimum of 4 years SHO or higher grade in psychiatry.
- Eligibility or approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act.
- Additional postgraduate qualifications.
- Publications or experience in writing psychiatric legal reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in in-house training and professional development.
