We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at Blusource Professional Services Ltd.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Finance department in key areas such as Sales and Purchase Ledger, as well as Credit Control functions.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control, and will be able to manage time effectively, particularly when working to tight deadlines.
The role involves registering new Customers and Vendors, debtor reporting, bank reconciliations, processing Credit Card expenses, and financial administration.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive working attitude, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams.
We offer a hybrid working arrangement, continuous training and development opportunities, a discretionary bonus scheme, and a range of other benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Registering new Customers and Vendors
- Debtor reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing Credit Card expenses
- Financial Administration – Purchase and Sales invoices, credit notes, gathering the details for new projects and processing payments
- Assisting the credit control function to resolve any queries
- Reconciling supplier statements and managing VAT returns
- Running supplier payment processes
- Assisting senior finance and HR staff with projects and ad-hoc tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- A good understanding of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control
- A positive working attitude, embracing change and development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively, particularly when working to tight deadlines
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience within a finance department
