Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited. As a key member of our Service Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our automated equipment and maintaining a high level of service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures and repair automated pick systems, including electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic disciplines.
  • Maintain and repair associated equipment, such as compressors, label printers, strapping machines, manual barcode scanners, PCs, and printers.
  • Arrange for specialist repairs and oversee contractors on site when necessary.
  • Ensure a comprehensive stock of spare parts is available to support the automated equipment.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities, as well as spare parts stockholding.
  • Liaise with internal agencies to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of the automated equipment.
  • Assist in staff training on the safe and correct use of automated equipment.
  • Additional technical duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements:
  • Broad-based knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, with a minimum of 2 years' technical experience in computer-controlled machinery.
  • Experience in pneumatics, conveying systems, and compressed air is essential.
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills are required.
  • Ability to use own initiative and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
