About the HGV Technician Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team based in Coatbridge. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical work to the highest standards, ensuring the fleet of vehicles and trailers are maintained and repaired to the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers.
  • Provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls.
  • General HGV technician duties.
Requirements:
  • Hold an in-depth knowledge of HGV's and trailers.
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential).
  • Be a fully skilled HGV Technician with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance, and repair.
  • Have previous experience as an HGV Technician.
