About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd. As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in supporting a broad range of small limited companies, from preparing accounts to filing corporation tax returns and completing financial audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accounts for a portfolio of clients, predominantly small limited companies
  • VAT returns, management accounts and tax computations
  • Audit of financial statements from planning through to completion
  • Managing juniors including assigning, overseeing and reviewing work
Requirements
  • ACA / ICAEW or ACCA qualified with previous practice experience in accounts, audit and taxation
  • Constantly up to date with adaptations in legislation and compliance requirements
  • IT skills including Excel and any accounts and audit software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, CaseWare etc)
  • Ability to prioritise assignments and work accurately with good levels of attention to detail
