About the Role

Citrus Recruit is seeking an experienced Project & Technical Engineer to join a leading business in their field, specializing in process plant equipment design, manufacture, and installation for various sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a growth strategy, where you will assist with large-scale projects across the UK, ensuring customer satisfaction is the top priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee customer orders, from supply-only to turnkey contracts, involving design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning.
  • Complete design engineering tasks, preparing details for manufacturing and installation, meeting customer expectations.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information, specifications, and measurements for projects, producing Method Statements and risk assessments.
  • Ensure efficient management of project work areas on-site.
  • Act on instructions from the Operations department regarding order processing, labour allocation, rework load, and future orders.
  • Implement policies and procedures for effective contract management.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to ensure estimates of works are realized cost-effectively without compromising quality or safety.
  • Adhere to and implement all Quality procedures, promoting quality awareness and responsibility throughout the business.
  • Review efficiency of site and manufacturing operations to ensure Quality, Cost, and Delivery schedules are met.
  • Assist the sales team in preparing estimates, project specifications, and requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in project and technical management.
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling costs throughout contracts in real-time.
  • 3 years experience in Project / Technical Engineer or equivalent from an engineering fabrication industry.
  • Mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge.
