We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Mercury Systems. As a key member of our Quality team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Component Engineering
- Review and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) gates
- Manage supplier notifications and create tickets as needed
- Evaluate and propose solutions for obsolescence and counterfeit prevention
- Classify and manage export control components
- Provide customer reporting and support for component kit sales
- In-Service Support
- Act as the first point of contact for customer RMA's
- Drive and manage RMA's with Quality teams
- Establish support documents required by projects
- Provide technical expertise on legacy products
- Support to Production
- Support production test technicians on product testing issues
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to support yield reduction
- Root Cause Analysis
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of defective products or subparts
- Synchronize root cause analysis activities with methods or engineering
- Provide feedback to Engineering for lessons learned
- University degree in science or engineering (BA/BS) or higher
- At least 2 years' experience in electronics manufacturing or repair, preferably in the aviation, space, and defense industry
- English spoken and written
- EASA Part 145 Certifying Staff Member (when authorized)
