As a Culinary Specialist, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of food quality and service within your designated area. From the initial preparation to the final presentation, your contributions will enhance the culinary prestige of our establishment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and decorate food orders in accordance with menu guidelines, ensuring impeccable plate presentation.
  • Oversee staff in your section to ensure operational efficiency and quality.
  • Manage inventory and establish mise en place for service.
  • Comply with venue standards for food quality, preparation, and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in seasoning, portioning, and appearance of dishes.
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in your section at all times.
  • Adhere to safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with last-minute reservation adjustments and ensure prompt food delivery.
  • Keep detailed records of preparation, cooking, and presentation specifications for future reference.
  • Work closely with senior chefs to provide support as needed.
  • Coordinate tasks with team members in your section to achieve optimal quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken).
  • COSHH Training (can be provided).
  • Basic understanding of HACCP principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, dedication, and enthusiasm are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
