Key Responsibilities
  • Operate client bank accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Update and maintain client data to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Raise beneficiary and third-party payments in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Liaise with banks to verify payments and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Respond to queries from colleagues, partners, clients, and third-party bodies via various communication methods.
  • Produce quarterly income and expenditure reports to provide valuable insights.
  • Assist with the installation of new clients onto the accounting system to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Support accountants with audits to ensure timely publication of accounts within legally prescribed timescales.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc team projects as required.
Requirements
  • Ideal education level: A level or degree level.
  • Numerate, accurate, and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Initiative and common sense to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
  • Well-organised with a strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills to perform data analysis and reporting.
