Job Description

Certas Energy UK Ltd, a leading provider of solar energy systems to businesses, is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Assistant to support the Finance Manager and day-to-day operations of the finance team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process sales invoices in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Process purchase invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete weekly and monthly payroll for all staff, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Run aged debt reports and chase outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment.
  • Contribute to month-end reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Partner with Operations to monitor budgets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Process supplier payments for final approval by directors.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties to support the Finance Manager, as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar financial operations role.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in processing payroll data and current legislation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to effectively liaise with non-finance colleagues.
  • Experience with Xero and Xero Payroll is highly desirable.
  • Ability to organize own workload and meet tight deadlines.
