As a Compliance Officer in the automotive industry, you will play a crucial role in implementing and embedding the Risk & Compliance Framework for our UK operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert regulatory advice and guidance to the business on compliance topics, including Consumer Duty, credit broking requirements, and Data Protection.
  • Undertaking monitoring and testing activities to assess the effectiveness of regulatory and conduct risk control processes.
  • Reviewing and supporting the business to log breaches and incidents.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on complaints, breaches, and incidents data to identify themes and emerging risks.
  • Assisting in overseeing risk management activity to ensure all relevant risks and controls are captured.
About You

We are looking for a Compliance Officer with:

  • Detailed technical knowledge of FCA Handbooks, legislative frameworks, and industry best practice standards.
  • Previous experience working within a compliance and/or risk department of a FCA regulated company, preferably in the motor industry and consumer credit/finance.
  • Practical understanding and experience of the FCA's expectations in relation to customer outcomes and treatment of vulnerable customers.
  • Ability to analyse and translate regulations into policies, processes, and procedures.
The Offer

This is a 6-month initial contract, offering a day rate of £400pd plus holiday pay, and a supportive work culture within a global brand.
