About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Student Support Officer (Welfare) to join our team at INTO Lancaster. As a key member of our Support Services team, you will provide exceptional support to our students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed in their academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate information, advice, and guidance to students on a range of welfare-related matters.
  • Assist with maintaining and overseeing the "under 18" welfare policy and procedures to ensure students under 18 feel safe and supported.
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide reports and management information as required by the Senior Management team.
  • Support the delivery of orientation week and deliver presentations on various topics.
  • Assist with the arrival and registration of students as needed.
  • Respond to basic information requests regarding accommodation provided by INTO.
  • Work with the Student Services team to ensure an all-inclusive social programme is delivered as part of a strong support network for students.
  • Promote and support the INTO Centre and the business in a positive manner.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is approachable, has excellent communication skills, and is able to deal with a wide range of people from different backgrounds. You will have strong observational skills, problem-solving abilities, and be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young adults.
