We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our Imaging Team at Bogner Regis War Memorial Hospital on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality imaging service, reporting to the Imaging Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out x-ray examinations in accordance with Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 and Ionising Radiations (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017, ensuring good practice in line with Royal College of Radiologists and College of Radiographers guidelines.
- Supervise the work of newly qualified staff, bank staff, and assistants, providing training where necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and visitors, reflecting their level of understanding and taking into account any barriers.
- Degree-level qualification in radiography or equivalent professional radiography qualification.
- State registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Ability to use radiology, computed radiography, and PACS IT systems.
