We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Speech and Language Therapy Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with communication difficulties.
As a Speech and Language Therapy Support Worker, you will work under the guidance of a speech and language therapist to provide therapy and support to children in various settings, including schools, nurseries, clinics, and their homes. You will be responsible for carrying out therapy independently, following sufficient training, and will also be involved in tasks such as making resources, administrative duties, and frequent communication with other adults involved with the child.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapy and support to children with communication difficulties in various settings
- Work under the guidance of a speech and language therapist to develop and implement therapy plans
- Carry out therapy independently, following sufficient training
- Make resources and complete administrative duties as required
- Communicate effectively with other adults involved with the child, including parents and teachers
