Job Summary

KNAPP is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Preston, Great Britain. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse equipment and systems. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in electro-mechanical engineering, with a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electro-mechanical engineering.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in electro-mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
