This organization is currently in a transitional phase, backed by a reputable private equity firm, and is anticipated to undergo a sale process in the foreseeable future. With a strong international footprint and a well-established brand reputation, this position is highly sought after.
The company fosters a positive work culture, characterized by a commendable track record of internal promotions and employee retention. They are in search of a Senior Finance Manager to report directly to the CFO, playing a pivotal role in implementing significant business transformations. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills, serve as an effective business partner to enhance cross-departmental communication, optimize systems, and deliver insightful analyses to senior management while adhering to 'best in class' standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting operations with a team of 10 direct reports.
- Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Finance and senior management.
- Report directly to the CFO.
- Supervise the monthly closing process to ensure precise reporting.
- Lead and develop the accounting team.
- Accountable for monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
- Actively contribute to optimizing the company’s working capital cycle.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, including UKGAAP and IFRS.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
- Background in manufacturing or consumer brands.
- Enthusiastic about technical finance with a proven track record in finance leadership, capable of establishing a 'best in class' finance function.
