Our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance, which includes Anglian Water, Morrison Water Services, Barhale, and Kier, plays a crucial role in enhancing environmental and social outcomes in the communities we serve. Together, we focus on innovative solutions for water recycling and clean water assets, managing projects worth approximately £60-80 million annually.
Responsibilities of the Reservoir Maintenance Operative:
In this role, you will be an integral member of our operational team, tasked with the upkeep and refurbishment of reservoirs and towers, including hatch re-bedding. A high level of manual dexterity is essential, as you will be using various hand tools. The position requires outdoor work in diverse weather conditions and the ability to navigate uneven terrain. Working in confined spaces will also be a significant aspect of your duties.
Key Duties:
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are conducted safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and instructions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments.
- Set up and dismantle work sites efficiently.
- Report any defects or damages encountered.
- Complete Inspection and Test Plans diligently.
- Monitor environmental conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide mentorship to team members.
- Address and escalate any issues that arise on-site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- EUSR Water / SHEA Water certification.
- POSWSH qualification.
- Familiarity with lining products such as Premseal 100, Masterseal 933, Acothane DW, Sika Pro 3, Natcem, Tapapure 150, and other waterproofing systems is advantageous.
- CSCS certification and confined space training.
- Valid driving license, including towing B,E.
