Job Description

**Job Title:** English Graduate Teaching Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Location:** North London

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and students during lessons, building strong relationships with students, and implementing strategies to nurture, engage, and raise attainment in their secondary years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher and students during lessons
  • Build a rapport with 5-6 students with specific needs and implement strategies to support their learning
  • Run 1:1 English tuition sessions to support students' subject specialism
  • Run intervention groups in English to build students' knowledge of the subject

Requirements:
