Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our well-established EHS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our plant operates at the highest standards of Health and Safety, in compliance with H&S and Environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance our existing Safety Management System to meet site requirements and comply with relevant legislation.
- Provide expert guidance and support in Health and Safety to site personnel.
- Develop and coordinate the delivery of the Safety training program.
- Collaborate with other sites to share best practices and implement our safety vision and Health and Safety policies.
- Assist in creating systems that promote personal responsibility for safety.
- Develop a Process Safety Management System and foster a strong Process Safety culture on-site.
- Lead High-Risk Employee Management and High-Risk Scenario training.
- Complete Hazard and Operability Studies for critical processes and new investments/significant changes.
- Chair the Safety Steering Committee and direct sub-committees.
- Manage changes related to Personal and Process Safety.
Requirements
- Degree qualification (preferred)
- Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety Management role is essential.
