THE ROLE

We are seeking a customer-focused problem solver for the Sales Assistant / Front of House position. This role is crucial as you will be the face of Zoomo, representing our brand to customers. You should possess a passion for bicycles and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by effectively promoting our products to riders.
  • Manage store administration and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Continuously seek improvements in store processes and procedures.
  • Provide an outstanding in-person support experience for our riders.
  • Guide riders through the onboarding process and safety protocols.
  • Assist existing riders in troubleshooting any issues with our e-bikes.
  • Stay informed about new policies, procedures, and programs that impact riders.
  • Deliver accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and after-sales services.
  • Address customer inquiries about specific products and services.
  • Cross-sell additional products to enhance customer experience.
  • Act as an advocate for our customers, ensuring they receive excellent service.
  • Support the Store Manager with various operational tasks.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, making customers feel welcomed in our store. You will identify client needs, present solutions, and address questions about our offerings. A positive attitude and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues will be key to your success in this role.

  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (additional languages, such as Spanish, are a plus).
  • A competitive spirit with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask while prioritizing customer needs.
  • Capability to identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating schedule.
  • Experience in mobility, micro-mobility, or e-bike repair and maintenance is advantageous.
  • A willingness and enthusiasm for selling our products to potential riders.
  • A curious mindset, eager to question the status quo.
  • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of teamwork.
