Functional Assessor Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the functional capacity of individuals and providing accurate reports to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the functional capacity of individuals using standardized assessment tools and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments to determine an individual's ability to perform daily living activities and work-related tasks.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive reports of assessment findings.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure high-quality assessment services.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with no restrictions and a valid PIN.
  • Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and generate accurate reports.
  • Proficient with IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
  • Valid driving license or reliable transportation to reach the nearest assessment centre.
