We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inclusion Services Administrator. As a key member of the NUH Inclusion team, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Interpreting and Translating Services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate telephone, email, and electronic diary bookings for the NUH interpreting service for non-English and Limited English Speaking patients.
- Allocate freelance and volunteer interpreters to bookings based on set criteria.
- Use MS Outlook and Excel to keep an up-to-date diary and record of interpreting bookings and monitor this to continually assess demand.
- Coordinate meetings for the interpreting services manager and take minutes at department meetings if required.
- Provide regular updates to the interpreting manager.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office and possess excellent communication skills.
- A high level of written and spoken English is required.
- The role/duties of the post are outlined below. In undertaking this role, the employee will be expected to behave at all times that is consistent with and actively supports the Trust values.
