Job Title: Histopathology Laboratory Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Histopathology Laboratory Manager to join our team at Cellular Pathology Services Ltd. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality services in Histopathology, while optimizing the growth and profitability of our business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the laboratory and contracted partners comply with regulatory standards, including CQC, UKAS, and Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
  • Support Business Development functions, utilizing your broad skill base and technical knowledge.
  • Work with Directors and senior managers to ensure the needs of the business are fully met.
  • Act as a leader and mentor for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee technical department operations to ensure accurate, precise, and timely testing of specimens.
  • Manage the laboratory environment and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Manage stock control and laboratory assets, in conjunction with the office manager and Business compliance executive.
  • Liaise with the Director of Compliance for all aspects relating to regulatory compliance.
  • Be the technical lead with technical expertise in lab techniques.
